Now that summer's finally here - and the threat of frosty nights has passed - Horizons' "Victory Garden" is in the ground and starting to grow. Located just outside the company's high-end digital editing suite, the fertile plot is poised to deliver yet another bounty of comestible delights.
This season's plantings include herbs like cilantro and sweet basil...vegetables like zucchini and tomatoes...and plenty of potent peppers, from habañero and jalapeño to cayenne and summer yellow.
In a matter of weeks, the garden will begin providing delicious additions to staff members' lunches, or even a healthy snack to tide them over between meals.
And it's not just eats in the Horizons garden - there are plenty of French marigolds bordering the plot to enthuse and delight the eyes.
At Horizons, we've long believed in supporting local agricultural efforts - especially when those efforts are our
own!
