Ever wonder what it’s like to step off the top of a 190 foot building…and walk down the side of it, to the ground? Many people got the chance last year, and you can have the opportunity yourself…if you dare. It’s all part of a fundraising effort by Gracehaven (an outreach program of Central Ohio Youth for Christ). More than 1,000 minors become victims of this crime each year, and Gracehaven’s goal is to reduce that number to zero. Through community collaboration, prevention education and awareness, intervention training, and survivor care and support, Gracehaven is working to eliminate the problem while helping its victims heal and move on with their lives.
Horizons Companies was proud to be a sponsor of Gracehaven’s Over the Edge event in 2016, and is looking forward to assisting in this year’s event as well. Participants agree that this once-in-a-lifetime experience opened their eyes to the serious but often hidden child sex trafficking industry…while giving them the satisfaction of doing something about it – along with a thrill they’ll never forget.
