Velvet Ice Cream, located in Utica, Ohio has been a Central Ohio institution since 1914. When the family-run business decided it was time to improve the look of its fleet of delivery trucks, they turned to Horizons. (Well, if the truth be told, they approached a series of other firms but none was able to handle the requirements of the project…but all that changed when they teamed up with our lead designer Ken Beck.) In addition to making sure that Velvet would always have a sweet ride to transport their frozen confections, Ken and the Horizons design team helped create some brand new packaging for the expanding selection of ice creams.
